We missed your concert at Lone Tree Arts. Luckily we saw you at Augustana before the quarantine. Jean and Mick, hope you made it to Ireland or will soon. Baile sábháilte. Maureen Flanigan

We will be so sad to see you go, perhaps an annual festival in Ireland? I first came to see you with my friend Molly McKee, in 1987 at The James where we weekly came to hear Colcannon and drink our beers off the list for a free Guinness glass. We brought our small daughter to hear your first symphony concert where she fell asleep to wild dreams of the Red Kite. Just this Christmas, she brought her college friend to see you at the Longmont Theater. You have been an integral part of our lives for ages and ages—bringing solace, laughter and tears of joy— From the bottom of our Full Hearts, THANK YOU!! May your years be Blessed and Long, Filled with Love and Good Folk for all the days that remain, Safe Travels.

I recently attended Colcannon's last concert in Longmont, Colorado. I bought the new CD "Wild Orchid" and the CD "Two Stories by Colcannon.". The sound quality is soooo good you seem to be in my own living room. Yippee! Harmonizing with you on "Wild Orchid" inspires me to pick up the guitar, learn the penny whistle, find my ocarina, dust off the ole' recorder or locate that old violin--(you know, the one they handed out in 7th grade). Alas, the CDs are not the real thing but, hey, they'll have to do... for now. -- Mick & Jean, Joyous travels, go n-éirí an bóthar libh

You played at our wedding reception almost 30 years ago on May 27, 1990 on Flagstaff Mountain. Finally, after all these years we are returning to hear you this Saturday in Denver and bringing two of our three adult children. We are very excited about sharing your music with them. There must have been something in the music way back then. All our boys wound up doing Irish dance, one of them a champion. Cheers, Claude & Tamra d’Estrée

I happened to get in my car and tuned in to KGNU a bit ago. I heard Mick’s interview answering the question about moving to Ireland next summer. I’m bummed for all of us who have loved the band over the years. But very happy he is returning to the land of his birth, along with his lovely wife Jean. Your description of the old, redone Irish cottage along the river sounds idyllic- and well deserved. I moved to Boulder in 1993 and my new friends quickly introduced me to Colcannon. I’ve been an enthusiast follower ever since, like many fans, attending as many concerts since then. It’s not fare thee well yet. I’ll see the group on Saturday. ✨

I have known Brian (J.B.) Mullins since the age of five. After high school our visits have been far and few between. Last year some unfortunate circumstances brought Brian back to Garnett. We enjoyed three days of Brian's company. Then he was gone. In July we came to Brian in Colorado. The day we spent in the canyon with him was easily the highlight of our trip. Lana and I agreed then that we would not let years slip by between the visits with our friend. We have set aside time in February to come and watch Colcannon at the Mid-Winter Bluegrass Festival. We are so excited. See you soon.

I’m so looking forward to singing with you at the Cherry Creek Chorale concert. I’d be interested in the trip to Ireland, but alas, it was last year. Hello Leslie ~ We're looking forward to it, too -- and to meeting all you folks. We're hoping to do another Ireland trip next year. We'll let you know! Cheers, Mick

Wonderful to see you are still together. Use to go to the little bar off of Pearl St. to see you play. Still have two of your cassettes and CD Some Foreign Land. Don't travel back to Boulder much these days, but maybe you'll visit VA...Old Town of Alexandria has two famous Irish Bars that have had live music since the early 70's. Best to you! Hello Bill ~ good to hear from you. Yes, indeed, we're still at it, though we don't play bars very often -- past our bed times :-) We do travel, though, so if we're ever any where near you, we;ll let you know. All the best, Mick
